Social Services
DBACD started providing social services in 1998. These services are funded by
the microfinance activities: until now, only a small amount of the annual Net
income was dedicated to provide social services (503,000 EGP or 90,000 USD in
2008), but the BOD intends on increasing the available amount on a zakat-based
model.
