family; her need for the loan came from her desire to improve her income and standard of living.
By time she increased the types of goods she sells including shoes and herbs which raised her
income to EGP 9000 per year which helped her build her out -of -brick made house on a small
piece of land, as well as furnishing it and buying a fridge. It is worthy to mention that she works
hard to enroll her children into school and even tried entertaining them by buying them a bike.

about four square meters in size using a drilling machine and only few amounts of material.
Throughout his borrowing periods, he rented another shop in the same area for expansion and

fresh vegetables and sell them in front of her house, after a while she added fruits as well. Throughout
her borrowing period, Samia was open minded and thought of renting a shop on the highway to help
her expand her business. Samia’s strong desire to succeed made her rely on herself and do the
buying to fill her needs of goods as she leaves her daughter in the shop while she goes for
vegetables and fruits. She has two daughters whom she helped finish their Technical studies, a son
